What we aim for
columbuswaterremoval.com should work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard, screen magnification or voice control. The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What is in place
- Text and call buttons meet WCAG AA contrast. The yellow call buttons carry dark text.
- Everything works from a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- Photos have text descriptions; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages are built from real headings, lists and landmarks, so you can move through them by structure.
- Animation is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Phone numbers are links, so one tap dials them and assistive technology announces them.
Known limits
